Romney Wins in Wyoming

He will have to share his Michigan delegates with Santorum though

There have been further developments in the race for the Republican Presidential Nomination. Mitt Romney won the Wyoming caucus by 7 points from Rick Santorum, but the latest delegate projections from his victory in Michigan show that he and Santorum will share the states 30 delegates.

The victory in Wyoming makes it three out of three this week for Mitt Romney, and has set him up on a strong platform going into next week’s Super Tuesday contests. However, the victories in Michigan and Wyoming have been very narrow. The delegate projections in Wyoming, where around 2,100 votes were cast, the delegate projections have him gaining just one more delegate than Santorum.

Heading into next week, Romney is regaining his national lead, but is down in the crucial state of Ohio. A strong night for Romney may be what is required to consolidate his front-runner status, but if Santorum can do well and win Ohio, the fight will keep on going.
